red, white, BOOM!! ! i love the 4th of july. i remember as a child growing up we had a huge 4th of july bbq. go cart racing, watermelon, fireworks and a hot day are all memories of it. i created a 4th of july centerpiece with a tray as a base. i placed my baseball collection (i have two boys...what else would I collect?!) carefully into a glass cloche and it sits on a black cake stand. flags from the target dollar bin (last years purchase), my old baseball glove and a beautiful piece of art i purchased from an artistic friend. all of this was laying around the house. it's easy to put together something festive with what you already have. there is no need to always buy new. what do you have laying around that could create a great 4th of july centerpiece? leave me a comment, i'd love to hear about it.

I love your baseball theme, I would have never thought of that. I can't wait to see your new trays especially the zebra. Smiles, Paula
The baseballs are perfect for 4th of July. After all it's the favorite American pass time.
Hugs,
Joanne
Neat! I also think of baseballs and the fourth of July...and a vase of flags and sparkly stars. I've been collecting red white and blue items over the years to display or use. My favorite find lately was a vintage/retro ice tea pitcher with red / white/ and blue stripes! Bingo!
